PEPPS Motheong School is excited to introduce a brand new initiative aimed at encouraging a love for reading among our learners, the Silent Reading Club.

This new club provides learners with dedicated time to immerse themselves in their books in a calm and relaxed environment. The quiet atmosphere allows learners to focus fully on their reading, creating a space where imagination can flourish and stories can truly come to life.

There is something special about a room filled with focused minds and the gentle sound of turning pages. The Silent Reading Club offers learners the opportunity to slow down, build their concentration, and develop a deeper appreciation for reading.

Since its launch, the club has already received a very positive response from learners who are enjoying the chance to explore new stories and spend time reading in a peaceful setting. Initiatives like this play an important role in supporting literacy while helping learners discover the joy that books can bring.
