On Saturday, 14 February 2026, the Grade 12 learners of PEPPS Motheong School demonstrated remarkable determination and resilience when they arrived at school to write one of their examination papers.
Despite it being a weekend, the matric class showed a strong commitment to their studies by ensuring that they were present and ready for the important assessment. For some learners, the journey to school was not an easy one, as transport challenges meant that a number of them had to walk to school that morning.
Even so, every learner arrived determined to do their best. Although some were understandably tired from the journey, they greeted the day with smiles and a positive attitude. There were no complaints or negative reactions—only focus, courage, and a shared determination to succeed.
Their actions reflected a level of maturity and resilience that truly embodies the values we strive to develop at PEPPS Motheong School. Facing challenges with determination and maintaining a positive outlook are qualities that contribute greatly to both academic and personal success.
We are incredibly proud of our Class of 2026. Their perseverance and dedication are inspiring, and their willingness to overcome obstacles in pursuit of their goals does not go unnoticed. We encourage them to continue pushing forward with the same focus and determination as they work toward their final examinations and the opportunities that lie ahead.
