The Foundation Phase teachers at PEPPS Motheong School recently took part in an inspiring Six Bricks training session, held on Friday and presented by one of our supportive Grade 1 parents. The session provided an opportunity for our teachers to explore creative and practical approaches to early childhood learning.
The training was filled with energy, creativity, and hands-on activities that kept everyone fully engaged. Teachers participated in a variety of interactive exercises that demonstrated how simple tools can be used to strengthen important developmental skills in young learners.
Six Bricks is an innovative educational approach that uses just six DUPLO® bricks to support structured, playful learning. Through a range of engaging activities, the programme helps develop skills such as memory, coordination, problem-solving, language development, and concentration in young children.
Our teachers thoroughly enjoyed the experience and are excited to incorporate these fun and effective strategies into their Foundation Phase classrooms. The training highlighted how play-based learning can be a powerful way to build essential skills while keeping learners motivated and engaged.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to our parent presenter for generously sharing their time and expertise with our staff. Their contribution is a wonderful example of how the PEPPS Motheong School community works together to enrich the learning experience for our learners.
We look forward to seeing Six Bricks activities come to life in our Foundation Phase classrooms.
