At PEPPS Motheong School, we believe that learning should be engaging, effective, and aligned with how the brain naturally processes information. Our unique approach is built on the five basic neurological learning needs, ensuring that every lesson is meaningful and impactful.
We integrate Positive Discipline Principles, fostering a restorative approach that helps learners grow rather than simply punishing mistakes. Our classrooms emphasize collaborative learning and 21st-century skills, preparing learners for the modern world.
While we follow the NCS and CAPS curriculum, our teaching goes beyond content delivery. We create opportunities for learners to actively process and internalise knowledge, making learning more effective. Brain-friendly learning and learner involvement are at the core of our teaching, incorporating international best practices and the latest trends in educational transformation.
PEPPS Motheong is proud to be a registered ThinkWise School in South Africa. We use a proven Metacognitive Study Approach, helping learners and parents understand how the brain works best to retain information. This approach is used by top-performing students worldwide.
We also keep our class sizes small, with a maximum of 28 to 30 learners per class, ensuring personalised attention and a supportive learning environment.
At PEPPS Motheong, we don’t just teach, we create learning opportunities to make learning happen, empowering every learner to achieve success where they are.
